The room had a noticeable musty smell. the towels felt old, and the tap dripped constantly. i also found the location quite secluded. Taxis to popular areas became expensive, affecting convenience..

Wonderful Beachfront Stay

The hotel had a cool vibe. I especially liked the sea view and the pool near the restaurant. The sunbeds were of good quality. I also appreciated that the bungalows included YouTube and Netflix. The beach area was great for swimming and relaxing. Breakfast offered a variety of good food. I found different kinds of options each morning. The front beach presented a very good view and clear water. One could walk a lot as well. The staff were all super lovely and helpful. I rented bikes from the front desk. This made exploring the island super easy. The food was great and a little shop on site sold any essentials I forgot. The rooms were modern and clean. Each day I received two bottles of water in my room. The shower provided great water pressure. I really enjoyed the pool and the loungers. The seawater was also inviting. I swam a lot.

The hotel is at the bottom of a steep hill. This could make taking a walk difficult for some.

The restaurant had a super chille sfeer. Breakfast included fresh fruit, yogurt, and omelets. They also offered tasty Thai dishes like soup and curries. I often ordered a cappuccino or fresh coconut after breakfast.

the direct beach access WAS fabulous! i enjoyed the convenience of stepping right onto the sand. my bungalow had some nice amenities like a fridge and beach towels. the partially shaded pool area provided relief from the sun.

the steep hill made getting around without a taxi DIFFICULT. taxis were necessary for shopping and dining.

I really liked the onsite shop. It was super convenient. our bungalow had some nice extras such as a fridge and beach towels. the pool also offered shaded areas at certain times, a plus.

the road to the resort was really steep. i found it difficult to get around without a taxi or scooter. also, the staff weren't always as friendly as i expected. the portions at the restaurant were pretty small and pricey.

the hotel sit near shops. it is 15 to 20 minutes away from chaweng. this made it easy to go to the gym. i could easily explore the island from here too.

The restaurant had a great food menu, i liked that. the pool bar was wonderful too. i also appreciated the calm beach. It had almost zero people.

There was a stray dog. walking around the tables was not ideal. the rooms were not special. They looked unfinished. the reception staff could have been more attentive, i thought.
